Ultra Thin-Wall Tubing

Tubing Technology
Meets Precision

Ultra Thin-Wall Tubes for Every Industry
For many Aerospace and Medical OEMs, seamed ultra thin-wall tubing is a crucial component in applications. Our proprietary technology allows us to manufacture tubes with a wall thickness thinner than most alternatives.

Our in-house capabilities for Ultra Thin-Wall Tubing delivers uniform wall thickness and consistent material strength at a competitive price. We can manufacture to customer specifications and quickly trim to custom lengths with our laser cutting machine.

Our Continuous Automated Tube Mill  converts sheet material to custom tubes of a high quality surface finish. This method is  quicker, less costly, and produces less waste than traditional boring methods particularly for longer production runs.

Capabilities include:

  • 0.5” – 5” OD
  • Wall thicknesses of 0.004” – 0.035”
  • Cut to custom length, up to 10’ long tubes
  • Laser trimming creates burr-free edges

Our Shear and Roll  technique uses pre-cut tubes and rolls them to custom dimensions, which is ideal for short runs with as little as 10 tubes. Capabilities include:

  • 2” long tube length max
  • Up to 14” OD
  • Wall thicknesses of 0.004 – 0.035”

Our thin-wall tubes can be purchased on their own or used to make our hydroformed bellows and bellows assemblies. We support the manufacturing of our Ultra Thin-Wall tubing with a host of complementary products and services, including:

  • Custom precision CNC machining capabilities to create full product assemblies
  • Expert soldering that can achieve tight dimensional tolerances to solder into bellows assemblies and product assemblies
  • Private labeling, packaging and kitting solutions for finished products
  • Lean manufacturing and strategic stocking solutions

We can manufacture tubing using a variety of materials including:

  • Stainless steel
  • Inconel
  • Monel
  • Hastelloy

Final applications, specific products, components, and assemblies include:

  • Electric motor sleeves
  • Heat exchangers
  • Machinery liners
  • Ducting systems
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Instrumentation and control systems
  • Heat collectors
  • Condensers and drains
  • Integral flow fins
  • Embedded fin tubes
